The Holy Spirit Comes in Full Power
REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, SEPTEMBER 2017

OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS OUR GOOD NEIGHBOUR” (Lk. 11:1–13)
Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Lk. 11:1). He compared it to a friend who at midnight, asks his neighbor to lend him 3 loaves of bread. His first reaction was no, but his second reaction was yes because of his persistence. He gave him whatever he needed. Our Heavenly Father is our “Good neighbor” who will give us whatever we need, including the Holy Spirit. Prayer is simply asking Jesus! He will supply our needs!

If you, a family member, loved one, and/or a friend, have not yet received Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, or need prayer for a healing miracle, please don't delay. Please email us your prayer requests whether personal, or involving family, friends, enemies, acquaintances, salvation, healing, deliverance, business, church; etc. Whatever your needs are, we will pray for you (Philip. 4:19). Also, let us know when Jesus answers your prayer so we can thank Him along with you (Lk. 16:16).

"He who has an ear, let Him hear what the Holy Spirit says to the church!" (Rev. 2:29)

“GOING FISHING WITH JESUS IS EXCITING” (MATT. 4:19)
Jesus’ first disciples were fishermen. He found them as he walked along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The first two were brothers, one Simon (called Peter) and the other Andrew. Jesus' offer was one that they couldn’t refuse: “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” In Greek that means fishing for all people including men, women and children. It was a similar invitation Jesus gave me along with His promise: “If you will come and work for me, I will supply all of your needs according to my riches in glory.”

Really it’s the same deal for everyone who says, yes and agrees to work for Jesus. Our net or bait is His Gospel which offers forgiveness of sin, salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance and a reservation in the New Jerusalem (Heaven).

Fishing for Jesus is a 24 hour, 365 – 366 day, exciting work experience. There's a church located on the highway south of where we live that has a sign which says, “Gone Fishing. See you back in September.” They have abandoned their ministry at a time when people are desperately looking for a good church with the signs, wonders and miracles. Sadly, there is nobody fishing for people fish this summer!

With your prayer and help, we continue to do the ministry of Jesus Christ all year around. When you support our ministry, you are a member of Jesus’ crew and you'll receive credit due for every person who receives ministry.

It is our Partners who care for the lost fish as well as the lost sheep. Remember when some of Jesus disciples were abandoning Him, Peter said: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You alone have the words of eternal life” (Jn. 6:68). Imagine that! We who are Jesus’ fishermen (and fisher women), have the only authorized fishing permits to lead, minister and harvest.

Gordon continues to receive many invitations, and because of your help, he does not charge fees to the churches or ministries that invite him, regardless of their size. Like the Apostle Paul, we urge you to send a love offering or financial gift to allow Gordon to continue to accept invitations as he is led by the Holy Spirit, here in Canada, the USA, or in other countries.

Please pray and continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7), asking Jesus how you can contribute.

All offerings and gifts are income tax deductible. Income tax receipts are sent out during February 2018. Throughout 2017, help us to increase the harvest of people of all ages into the Kingdom of God (Jn. 4:35).

To make a financial contribution to Gordon's ministrydonate online using our "Secure Pay Pal” cart on our web site using a credit card. Mailed Cheque donations are to be made out to "The Gordon Williams Evangelistic Ass’n” or "G.W.E.A”.

“RECEIVING THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OVER THE TELEPHONE” (ACTS 2:21, 37)
Recently, I received an e-mail from a young man in western Cape town, South Africa. He explained, “Good afternoon, my name is Grant. I have been saved for a few months but I’m struggling to walk the walk. I would like to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Will you please pray for me to receive?”
I called him, not thinking of the time difference and woke him up at 3:30 a.m. I prayed with Grant to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and with ease he spoke in his new tongues language. Praise the Lord!

“CASTING DEMONS OUT OF HER APARTMENT” (MK. 16:17)
A woman in Orangeville, Ontario was referred to me by one of the men in our fellowship. She explained that she was being harassed and tormented by demons/evil spirits that had come into her apartment. They were pushing and touching her, and moving her furniture around the room. She had taken four pictures of them with her cell phone's camera, and then she sent them to me to show me just how weird they looked. I told her that I could get rid of them as part of a 3 step process:
First, for her safety it was necessary for her to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in which He would empower her with the Gift of Tongues. Speaking aloud in her tongues language would ensure that she had received (Mark 16:17). She agreed and within moments she spoke with ease in her tongues language, receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Next, I asked her to step outside while I cast the demons out of her apartment and send them to the abyss (Lk. 8:31).
Then, I asked the Holy Spirit to fill her apartment with His presence and glory. Later that day she called me and said, “Thank you very much! My apartment is now so peaceful.”

“THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES WITH FULL POWER” (ACTS 2:4)
At the Full Gospel Church, St Catharines, Ontario, the first person that I prayed with was a man who asked to have the 2nd and 3rd levels of the Holy Spirit so he could expand his ministry.
I explained to him that there is only one level of the Holy Spirit. He had received some wrong teaching relating to the time when Elisha asked Elijah for a double portion of the Spirit (2 Kings 2:9).
I explained what Jesus had said, “For he whom God sent utters the words of God, for it is not by measure that he gives the Spirit” (Jn. 3:34).
In other words, he needed to learn to use what the Holy Spirit has given which are the "Signs Following" (Mk. 16:16:17–18) and the "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" (Rom. 12:6–8; 1 Cor. 12:8–10).
I prayed with him and asked Jesus to “stir up the Gift of God that he had received” (2 Tim. 1:7) and to help him to "listen to the Holy Spirit" (Rev. 2:7). He fell to the floor speaking in tongues! Thank you Jesus!

“MINISTRY IS WHERE YOU FIND IT – EVEN ON THE FARM!” (MK. 16:15)
A man had called Veterinary, Dr. Brent McLaughlin's work office and said: “Good morning, my wife tells me that Dr. Brent is coming to work on Molly. That’s great I like Dr. Brent. I understand that he’s also a minister. He heals more than our four-legged friends. I have an unusual request for him. I read a lot of books but there’s one book I haven’t read and should have years ago and that is the Bible. And I was wondering if he had a spare one kicking around. I would greatly like to read the Lord’s words for myself, and learn. I know this is unusual request, but could you pass this message along to him if you have time today.”

Brent told us that, "after receiving this mail, I prayed that I would have the opportunity to not only give this man a Bible but also pray with him to be saved and Baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidences of speaking in tongues. I told him when I got to his farm (after I had completed the vet work) that to just give him the Bible without the Holy Spirit would be like trying to understand Greek. To illustrate the point, I showed him John 3: 16, first in Koine Greek and asked him to read it and said he couldn’t. I then showed him the NKJV and he read it, understood and got the point. I asked him if he would like to pray and receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and he said, “Yes.” He received and spoke with ease in his new tongues language” (Acts 2:4).

“THAT IS EXACTLY MY DESIRE” (LK. 10:27)
At our Burlington House Church, we prayed for a man who explained, “For some time now, I have wanted to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I have read and studied the Scriptures and I know I need to receive it. We prayed and he received the Holy Spirit and began to speak in a tongues. The interpretation of his tongues expressed his desire to serve Jesus with all of his heart, mind, soul and strength. He said, “That is exactly my desire.”
If you, your family and/or friends would like to receive either Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Gift of the Holy Spirit, Healing, Deliverance, etc., I invite you come to one of our house meetings or contact me. Blessings to you and your family!

Yours in Jesus,

God's mercy, not our own efforts, saved us. It was "not by works of righteousness we have done."  But, simply saving us was not enough; God needed to be able to guarantee that, despite our humanity, we could walk with Him and live according to His plan.   READ MORE...

The Holy Spirit is not a coward - nor does He cause people to act like cowards. He develops strength in us. We need to have the same strength that enabled Jesus to die on the Cross, walk through death and come back into life again.

When Timothy received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, like Paul, he may have received the charismatic gift of speaking in tongues (languages) which would have been the normal initial evidence (Acts 2:4; Acts 15:8; 1 Corinthians 14:18).  Like many of us, he did not use his gift.  Problems arose...  READ MORE...

The key to serving Jesus Christ, regardless of our circumstances, is knowing Him and recognizing the pattern He established for us through His life, death and resurrection - and through His Word. The Holy Spirit holds that key. "Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him" (Romans 8:9).  READ MORE...

Paul warns that these last days are perilous times in which to serve Jesus Christ. Counterfeits abound. Any true Christian can spot counterfeit Christians. They might look just like normal, religious people, but that's the problem - they are normal religious (but not Christian) people. Outwardly, they look like Christians; they attend church services and go through all the motions, but are simply self-centered manipulators who take advantage of other people in the Name of God.  READ MORE...

She is No Longer Disappointed. (PS. 22:5)
"They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed" (Ps. 22:5)

At our Welland House Church Meeting that meets in Fonthill, Ontario, a woman came with one of our “Signs, Wonders and Miracles” newsletters that a friend had given her. She explained, “I have received prayer six times for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and I did not receive tongues. I am very disappointed!”

I explained, “That was before, but if you follow my instructions tonight, you will receive the Holy Spirit and you will speak in tongues. She reluctantly agreed. We prayed for her sin to be forgiven (Salvation) and for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in the promised tongues-language (Mk. 16:17–18).

She received, and fell to the floor (Is. 28:13) speaking in her new tongues language.
