MONTHLY MINISTRY REPORT
REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, FEBRUARY 2017

“YOUR PARTNERSHIP HELPS US TO SHARE THE GOSPEL” (MK. 16:15-20)
This year more than any other year, your generosity and donations have transferred into Salvations, Baptisms of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance and many answers to prayer. But, more than that, we are able to meet the needs of people locally as well as the Christian Children’s Hospital in India, which does free surgery for the various physical problems that their families could not afford; the Children’s Mission Haiti which provides ministry and school classes, churches and meals for 1,000 plus children; and also, Breakthrough Ministries (Rev. Maurie Blair), whose ministry is welcome in schools across Canada.

Your prayerful support allows Gordon the freedom to go where Jesus leads him. In Canada, we provide ministerial support for those in need along with necessary food, medicine and financial help. Your continued support and "cheerful giving" helps to provide Bibles, books and CD's to people as they grow in their relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your continued financial support and helping our ministry “increase the harvest during 2017.” (2 Cor. 9:10)

Your monthly support also allows us to accept invitations to any church, small or large in any town or city in Canada, USA or any other country. Please continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7) and help us increase our ministry. Please pray and ask Jesus what you should do to help.

To make a financial contribution to Gordon's ministrydonate online using our "Secure Pay Pal” cart on our web site using a credit card. Mailed Cheque donations are to be made out to "The Gordon Williams Evangelistic Ass’n” or "G.W.E.A”.

“SPEAKING OF MIRACLES!” (HEB. 2:4)
“Dear Rev. Williams: I just want you to know how much my wife (Claire) and I appreciated your prayer against cancer for me. You were at Brand’s farm at Dashwood, Ontario. You told me to pray in tongues every day. I followed your instruction as best I could, and I am now totally healed! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Gordon!
My wife and I are going on a trip to the Philippines by Feb. 12 to visit her family. If you have a list of people’s email you notify about speaking engagements; I would love to be added to it. Thanks, and be blessed. Enclosed is an offering for your ministry”.

“CALL YOUR VET!” (ACTS 19:16; MK. 16:17-18)
Dr. Brent McLaughlin, a Veterinarian, who is one of our Pastors, reported a visit he made to one of our House Church host’s house near Stouffville, Ontario, to attend a somewhat unusual call to a ailing baby potbellied pig. The pig appeared near death, and there was little medically that could be done. The prognosis was poor, but much medical help was administered to aid recovery. Prayer was offered to heal the patient, and the owner and her large family readily accepted the offer concluding the prayer with a unanimous Amen!

After attending to the pig, the client expressed concern that God never answered her prayers after the death of her mother. In the conversation that followed, an invitation was given to be saved and baptized with the Holy Spirit. The woman asked, “Who can I call to receive the Holy Spirit?” I simply stated, “Call your vet!” After the laughter had subsided, the vet prayed with the woman, and four of her children prayed along to receive Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2: 4; 8: 17). And, by the way, the pig made a wonderful recovery!

“THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES US JOY UNSPEAKABLE.” (1 THESS. 1:8 KJV)
In our House Church at Fenelon Falls, ON, a man came to the meeting, invited by a farmer who regularly attends. The man was from a company in Quebec who sells aerial photography to rural clients. The farmer is so full of the joy of the Lord (Neh. 8:10; 1 Thess. 1:6), having recently been set free, saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. He had his Bible sitting in plain view for the salesman to see it. A conversation ensued which led to this man coming to the House Church meeting where he eagerly participated and during the prayer time received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues (Acts 2:4; Acts 8:17).

“NOW YOU HAVE A HEALING MINISTRY.” (MK. 16:16–18)
At a meeting at Curve Lake, Ontario, a 25-year-old woman asked, “Can I have a healing ministry?” I said, “Yes, you can, but first; you have to be saved and baptized with the Holy Spirit so you will receive the “Signs Following” (Mk. 16:16–18) and you will be able to lay hands on people and pray for them. She said, “I’m saved!” I said, “That’s good. Now you need the power of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 1:8). She received and fell to the floor speaking in tongues. I said, “Now, you have a healing ministry!”

“SPIRITUAL HOUSE CLEANING.” (LK. 11: 24–26)
After being a guest on the Richard Syrett’s “Paranormal Show,” I received a call from a woman in Toronto Ontario who was being harassed by demons in her apartment for the past two years. They were taunting and hitting her, throwing furniture around. She was terrified! I went to her apartment and cast the demons out, sending them to the Abyss (Hell) (Lk. 8:31).

She prayed to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and was filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues (her Holy Spirit-given language). She now has peace for the first time in two years. A person who is baptised in the Holy Spirit cannot be possessed. The proof is found in the “signs following” (Mk. 16:18).

“YES, THAT IS WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!” (1 PET. 2:24)
I was asked to visit a man in the hospital in Welland, Ontario. Since I had no idea about why he was in the hospital, I asked him, “Why are you in here?” He replied, “I’m full of cancer” as he placed his hands on his stomach. I remarked, “Well, I’ve come here to pray with you and to ask Jesus to heal you.” He agreed.

I explained that the biggest obstacle to receiving healing was the "sin" in our lives. I asked him,
"Would you like to pray with me and ask Jesus for the forgiveness of sin, to be healed of cancer and to be filled with the Holy Spirit?” He accepted Jesus' invitation, and we prayed together.

Just as I said Amen to finish the prayer, he looked up at me surprised, and said, “All the pain has gone! Is that supposed to happen?" His daughter, who was standing right there while we prayed said, “Well, didn't you just asked Jesus to heal you?” He smiled from ear to ear in acknowledgment. “Yes, that is what is supposed to happen!" I reassured both of them.

“JESUS SAID, "BRING THE CHILDREN TO ME.” (MATT. 19:14)
At the Full Gospel Church, St. Catharines Ontario, a woman brought her 7-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter for prayer. When I asked them, “What would you like to be prayed for?” They were shy about answering. Their mother said, “They would like to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues.” I asked them, “Is that what you would like?” Both nodded their heads, “Yes!” They both prayed with me asking Jesus to forgive them for the bad things they had done, and I prayed with them to receive the Holy Spirit, and they both began to speak in tongues (Acts 2:4).

“MAKE PRAYER THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE.” (EPH. 6:18)
Send in your needs - personal, family, friends, enemies, acquaintances, salvation, healing, deliverance, business, church; or whatever your needs are so that that we can pray for you and your requests (Philip. 4:19). Let us know when Jesus answers your prayer so we can thank Him along with you (Lk. 16:16).

If you, your family and/or friends would like to receive either Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Gift of the Holy Spirit, Healing, Deliverance, etc., I invite you come to one of our house meetings or contact me. Christmas blessings to you and your family!

Yours in Jesus,

"There's something different about you," is hopefully the observation of a non-Christian addressing a Christian.

Change is often impossible apart from God. Humans are so trapped by their habits and character flaws that, try as they will, few escape their destructive traits.

How, then, does one become like Jesus? It's a supernatural process, a work of the Holy Spirit in us, accomplished through developing what Paul calls "the fruit of the Spirit” as outlined in Galatians Chapter 5, verses 22 to 23.

The "fruit of the Spirit" are: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness (meekness), faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The word "fruit" is singular here. Because there are nine qualities listed, Paul obviously means that the fruit of the Spirit is composed of all nine characteristics, and thus a fully ripened or mature Christian would be recognized by the presence of all nine.

While this is a process and takes time, changes are apparent right from the beginning. In my own life, I will never forget the shock...

The nine Beatitudes, found in the Gospel of Matthew (Chapter 5, verses 3 to 12), are a collection of Jesus' moral teachings and served as an introduction to His Sermon on the Mount.

Basically, Jesus outlined in the Beatitudes the process involved in the development of a Christ-like character.

Unfortunately many of our biblical translations do not adequately convey his teachings.

For instance, when we read in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall receive comfort (be comforted)", when we go back to the original Greek, the actual meaning is:

"Blessed are those who mourn over their sins, for they shall receive the Comforter", referring to the (baptism of the) Holy Spirit, who is the "Comforter".

Each of the Beatitudes is actually a stage of growth in the Christian life.

Through them, we are taken right through from salvation to the baptism of the Holy Spirit - both leading ultimately to one's peace and self-control.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23).

The King James Version translates the third Beatitude as,”Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

The original meaning of the word that was translated as "meek" refers to a person who comes under perfect control of the Holy Spirit.

One who is teachable in all things and will act on command when directed by the Lord to do something.

This obedience results in molding one's character into conformity with the character ‘of Christ, the full embodiment of the fruit of the Spirit...
